The neck mounting holes were drilled but have been professionally plugged for you to start fresh. I had them plugged because I thought they were a bit off but it turns out they were perfect and it was the body that was off. This is a "conversion neck" meaning it fits on a standard Strat and gives it a 24.75" Gibson scale. Very comfortable to play.

Mess with that & you change the feel, the sound, & you take away some of it's innate Fenderyness (if there is such a word). 2019-07-20 · The neck that is on it is 24.75" scale. I ultimately want to replace the neck with something more to my liking while using the original as a test bed. I haven't seen much in the way of bolt on 24.75" necks. Could I use a conversion neck from a company such as warmoth and be fine? According to my research, the neck pocket should be the same. Thank you!

Built by Chris Finch in 2002. Warmoth’s 24.75 conversion necks yields a stumpy guitar and plays awkward. No good! I'm planning on ordering a 24.75" Scale conversion neck but I can't find anything about the size of the fretboard overhang, which could be an issue for me. I can see that the standard 25.5" necks have a 1/4" 22 fret overhang (right?) but the 24.75" fretboard is clearly a different shape. Any help is appreciated, many thanks! 2018-02-06 · The Squier Vintage Modified Thinline Tele has 24.75" scale.

To me, one of the things that defines a Fender guitar (along with a 6 a side headstock) is the 25.5" scale.

Thank you! Both the neck and body came from Warmoth. It’s a vintage tint gloss finish, and I had a local workshop do the matching headstock. I’m not sure how they pull it off but Warmoth offer conversion necks that change a guitar designed for 25.5” scale length to the Gibson 24.75”.

I had a Warmoth 24.75" conversion neck in a tele a while back. It played and sounded great. I had to sell it to pay some bills, but I wouldn't hesitate doing it again. Next time around whenever that is, I may go with a USA Custom Guitars 25" scale neck to get just a little more tension.

Here is a telecaster type neck that has 24.75 scale length. Rosewood fretboard and maple body. It had amber tint on it when I got it the holes are 11/32 opening and used the vintage fender type tuners. Truss rod adjustment is on the butt end. The frets are in fair shape they have been leveled and polished.Decent playing neck don t know who made it.
